"First and foremost, I believe the incumbents preformed their role as councillors to the best of their ability. That said,  I believe as a city, we should always lean towards improvement and growth, working as a community to do a “Good job Better”.  I am committed to listen to, advocate and work on behalf of our city, as the residents deserve nothing less than that. An important priority, is to stabilize the city's operating budget and reduce inefficient spending through efficiency audits. The City of Brantford’s democratic health is ailing, as reported by Armstrong Strategy Group in October 2021, Brantford ranked near the bottom of the democracy index, finishing 29th out of 32 of the largest municipalities in Ontario. As your Councillor, I will work to ensure that this is addressed without delay. Our infrastructure crisis needs to be addressed immediately, starting with the West Brant traffic issues; improvement to our transit services; an increase public safety (reducing crime, addressing residential street safety, and developing a resolution to the city's opioid crisis). With over 25 years experience as a business professional, I understand what it takes to develop and implement solutions, to get the task done.
